Jaguar XJ8 2003-2010 - Adaptive Speed Control P/N: 2W93-9AA12-BD (Jaguar XJ8) / 2W93-9AA12-AA (Jaguar XKR)

The Adaptive Speed Control Module fitted onto Jaguar XJR and Jaguar XKR fitted on vehicles made between the years 2003 and 2010 have a built in radar, which computes the distance between the car and other vehicles in front of the car, and adapts the speed of the car to maintain the gap. A faulty unit fails to communicate with the car and fails to adapt the cruise control, hence generating the error display “cruise control not available. This fault generates the diagnostics error code B1342. BBA has a fix this Adaptive Speed Control Module. The usual part numbers on these units are 2W93-9AA12-BD and 2W93-9AA12-AA.
