DTC P0605 ECM

Procedure for confirmation of DTC – A, B, C

There are 3 procedures to be conducted for finding the malfunction.

First perform A, if DTC is not confirmed then perform B, still if it is not confirmed then C

 Switch off ignition and wait for 10 seconds.

‘A’

With Consult II                       

Switch on ignition.                   

Click Data Monitor mode.        

DTC > Diagnostic Procedure.  

Without Consult II

Switch on ignition.

Switch off ignition, wait for 10 seconds and switch on again.

With ECM conduct Diagnostic Test Mode II, Self Diagnostic Tests.

DTC > Diagnostic Procedure

‘B’

With Consult II

Switch on ignition, wait for 1 second.

Click Data Monitor mode

Switch off ignition, wait for 10 seconds and switch on again.

DTC > Diagnostic Procedure.

Without Consult II

Switch on ignition and wait for 1 second.

Switch off ignition, wait for 10 seconds and switch on again.

With ECM conduct Diagnostic Test Mode II, Self Diagnostic Tests.

DTC > Diagnostic Procedure,

‘C’

With Consult II

Switch on ignition and wait for 1 second.

Click Data Monitor mode

*Switch off ignition, wait for 10 seconds and switch on again.

Repeat above*, 32 times.

DTC > Diagnostic Procedure.

Without Consult II

Switch on ignition and wait for 1 second.

*Switch off ignition, wait for 10 seconds and switch on again.

Repeat above*, 32 times.

With ECM conduct Diagnostic Test Mode II, Self Diagnostic Tests.

DTC > Diagnostic Procedure,

With Consult II

Switch on ignition.

Choose Self Diagnostic Results.

Put your finger on ERASE.

Conduct Procedure for confirmation of DTC.

DTC P0605 confirmed > replace the ECM.

Without CONSULT-II

Switch on ignition.

Wipe off Diagnostic Test Mode II, Self Diagnostic Results’ memory.

Conduct Procedure for confirmation of DTC.

DTC P0605 confirmed > replace the ECM.
