Hi,

Over the cold period my windscreen wipers have stopped working on My Citroen C2 HDi ('04). I think they were left on from the night before and when coming to start the next morning they must have been frozen to the screen and possibly tripped out.

I have checked the fuses and all seem fine. Reading around I am led to believe it maybe something to do with the BSI?
I have removed the shunt fuse, and sure enough they intermittently work, although no control on the stalk. So this leads me to think that that the wiper motor is fine.

I have tried the BSI reset seq to no avail.

Is this a symptomatic of the BSI unit? before I remove it?

By the way two weeks prior to the wipers failing, I replaced the battery. Not sure if this would have affected it?

Thanks.

Yep the bsi controls the wipers, have you (or know a competent user) got access to a good scantool, one that can exploit the bsi.

"if not there is a reset for the comms 200 unit." err do you mean comm (s) 2000 unit and reset the BSI.

Kev.
