After trawling the web for any possible 206 related problems most of the result seem to point to ECUs,coilpacks,injector wiring etc etc, I always had it in my mind that the fuel pump may be the culprit as she did say that the car stuttered a couple of times and even cut out last week. So I removed the plug from the fuel pump to check if there was any power getting to it and there is a 12V supply,reconnected the plug,removed the fuel line and turned over the engine but no fuel came out so now thinking that the fuel pump has gone,Would I be right in saying this ??

Cheers

Pete

Ps She put £30 of fuel in the car last Thursday so plenty there.

peugeot 1.4 rapier 307    yr 03

my wifes car cuts out intermittently when clutch is depressed (or wife is distressed) whilst in motion only . not whilst stationary (ticking over) or while clutch is engaged in motion only when driving and clutch is depressed to change gear or to coast it happens
. there is no set pattern relating to speed, or any other conditions, car will either start immediately when jump started whilst in motion or started via key either stationary or in motion. please help or it may cost me a new car . she's after a Chrysler 300c then god help us all

Audi a4 abs fault

Hi all i have an Audi A4 2004 V6 TDI eng code BDH 72000 miles with abs fault

ABS fault code, 00301 ABS return flow pump -V39

rover 75 k16 2003 abs light on fault code-00e-valve relay?

hi,anybody seen this fault code before, replaced loads of abs sensors in my time, but never seen this code-please help

vw polo 1.4 tdi 05 reg brakes binding

Hi, I have a vw polo 1.4 tdi 05 reg and the front brakes are binding, I have changed the brake master cylinder, I have driven about 1 Mile and the brakes binded again, any ideas? Car came in with suspension BHI not working{ motor U/S}. Fitted replacement BHI but still no pump operation. The Actia diagnostics indicate a missing sensor power supply- code P3551, this supplies power to the steering wheel angle sensor and the trigger input to start the pump motor , with this power missing pump obviously wont start, but I can't find where it is derived from. I have checked all relevant fuses 2 in engine fuse box and 1 in glove box but all ok.

Could it be the BSI at fault? Came in for a basic service and now smokes really badly in the morning. Checked compressions, all good and even at 210 lb/in. Look with a bore scope showed pistons wet. All breather pipes clear and dry.Removed cylinder head to find all four bores wet and oil running down the valve stems. Exhaust ports badly caked with oil burnt on deposits. Fitted all new genuine Valve seals and gaskets, reassembled, but its still the same. Smoke is bad at first start up but cleares quite quickly, no smoke at all when hot. Valve guides all seemed good. No excessive amounts of oil left in the cam cover when removed after running.

Any ideas? as i'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Thanks

David

corsa c 1.2 windscreen washer pump

Hi, i have a 51 plate corsa the windscreen washers do not operate. The car starts and drives, however engine management light is lit and the car will not rev over 2k when cold, or 3k when warm. With the ignition on, using a Sealey PSA scanner, or a Launch X431, I get the following faults:

1> P1631 - Internal ECU fault

2> P2101 - Motorized Throttle Command/Coherence Fault.

I have replaced the throttle body with a brand new one, however the fault codes are both still there. The ECU was sent to ECU Doctor in Plymouth, who tested the ECU and said it was fine. I have stripped the three multiconnectors from the ECU back to each individual sensor, throttle body and multifunction control module/engine bay fusebox. Wires are fine when checked for continuity. I have also checked the connectors for corrosion and again seem fine.

Citroen looked at this car and said it was the throttlebody and loom. Throttle body has not sorted anything out, and the loom seems fine. Any ideas on this one??

VW Lupo 3L -> ABS coding

car: Vw Lupo 3L tdi (ANY) with automatic gearbox.

-> problem:

the ABS and handbrake lights on dashboard keep blinking and the dashboard's snoozer doesn't stop making its annoying noise.

-> tested:

. all the wiring

. another dasbhoard (lupo's dashes are known for breaking down all the time)

. a used ABS unit

-> conclusion:

the car's abs unit has a 00000 coding and doesn't let me change it. this provokes the dashboard's problems. the used abs comes from an ibiza and gives me a trouble code naming that its coding number is incorrect but, neither ELSAwin nor VAS5052 have instructions on how to calculate coding number for this thing.

-> what i ask:

does anyone have a similar car around (lupo or arosa) and can check the ABS coding so i can try to code it on my "new" one ?

thanks in advance for your patience!

edc light stays on,no glow plug light,cant start.

:EDC light stays on, glow plug light wont come on.

ECU been tested by BBA REMAN no faults,

common rail pressure seal changed,injectors checked,working fine,2 faulty glow plugs,

wiring checked,no frayed wires.

can any one help

Peugeot 306 HDi Heater Fan Control reduced range

Heater fan now goes mid speed at 'OFF' and a bit faster at 'MAX'. I found one had gone open circuit so replaced the four. I also had a coolant temperature sensor reading of 118 degrees when cold, putting the temp sensor open circuit gives me a default value of around 70 degrees, so I know the sensor is us.

I can now erase all fault codes and none reappear, but tried to start it and now the red dot led flashes quickly on the dash panel insert as soon as I switch the ignition on and the fans come on fast speed as soon as the key is removed from the ignition. The engine just cranks and cranks also.

Anybody got any ideas....I am a VWG boy through and through! ;-)

Is there a process to "re-initialise" the immobiliser if the vehicle has not been started but unlocked for a while etc.

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards

Audi A4 Idling problems

1998 Audi A4 1.6 Avant Always starts first turn and runs well till warm.
