I'm recommending outright new only from now on.

Re-con Delphi ones never seemed to work successfully [but you couldn't convince a taxi driver...] and I've now seen two nightmare [non-Piezo] HDi ones in the last month - one on a 2.2 Relay and one on a 2.8 Iveco.

Both had excess[!!] leak-off and non-start; but the re-con replacements rattled and smoked their heads off - even though the supplier swore blind that there was nothing wrong with them on test.
