A ECU downloads says:-

P221 intermittent fault

Satellite Left

P1801 Permanent fault level of driver module trigger 1 open circuit

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

Welcome to the forum.

Airbag/SRS ECUs don't generate P [powertrain] codes.

The code for the satellite bag should contain more description than that - what was it read with?

The driver's module is the steering wheel bag - one of its two firing circuits is open circuit.

Airbag system repairs are for experts only; take it to a qualified and properly-equipped professional.

Thank you very much for your reply, I have had a "air Bag" warning light on the dash board for a bout 1 week or so, so I took it to my local garage who told me that they had done a ECU download, and it said

P2211...................open circuit

Steve

Sounds as though your local garage has bought themselves a scanner, but have no idea what it's telling them, or what to test next.

Maybe you'd best find an independent Peugeot specialist, or take it to a dealer.

sounds like a snappy scanner used, i used to get P codes on my ethos when scanning french and italian cars in air bag ecu's, reason why i sold the worthless piece of horse-manure.

Would rather be playing pool.

the horse manure is good for the roses i do agree, any way back to the vehicle, i would recommend taking the vehicle to a good garage with a good scan tool and knowledge of the system and then we might get a better fault explanation.

Would rather be playing pool.

Level of drivers module triggers 1 and 2 was always one of the faults when the comm 2000 went faulty.

Hope this helps.

Sattelite sensors are located on the inner sills between the front seats and the dooe seal rubber.
