I have replaced the battery on my BMW 320d. There is power and dash lights do come on but the car does not start, does not even turn the motor. I had it at a workshop and they can't find the fault. Please help!

Have you had the key apart ?

Have you checked all fuses ?

Does the car have an aftermarket alarm or immobiliser fitted ?  ( even one that you have never used before )

I checked on Autodata before I posted that question.

There are two types of key listed up to 2002.  One type does come apart, the other doesn't.

Maybe Autodata have it wrong ???  BigGrin
