Hi i have checked the voltage references and get an idle value of 1.5v which is correct but when i accelerate i only get v2.3 instead of 4.2v

also i did a check of the TPS and noticed a flat spot at low throttle

so am not sure what to go for ? any ideas

Ps i haven't checked the crank sensor yet

Shaun is your engine code x10xe?

If this is your engine code there are three wires going to the throttle sensor.

wire no 1 is ground.

no 2 is 5volt supply

no 3 is throttle position signal going to ecu.

Do a load test on these wires. and check the 5v+ earth,

Take off your throttle sensor and check the butter fly and make sure there is no wear on either.

If the wires are ok and there is no wear then the throttle sensor has to be faulty.

Before you stick a maf on it can you confirm, the voltage reading you gave at full throttle, was that with the engine reving out correctly or when it was struggling? If the former then as said earlier/ new quality maf.
