Hi was trying to update TCM on 2002 transit diesel 2.4 programming interupted near start and now cannot communicate with TCM. I was using Ford IDS. Appreciate any help Cheers Mark

Is it a proper ford etis ids? did you connect a external power source to keep batteries above critical voltage?if not and you have wiped ecm its over.

"if not and you have wiped ecm its over." PCM,s can be recovered, never done a TCM but perhaps they can as well.
If the IDS came from BBA, darren will be able to help if it can be recovered.

Ah ok ! I'm sure if he didnt have then he wouldnt have asked what version he was running, so then he could have possibly helped with his problem.
Fraze if you cant get comms with module then theres a good chance the software has managed to corrupt.
You should have made sure battery voltage kept at a constant voltage when flashing and made sure nothing was moved cable wise when doing the flash.
