i posted earlier in the week about this car with the lambda code,no more lights on dash or codes in the ecu but found that the linkage on the swirl valve is broken,i know these are common but never actually done one,has anyone got a labour time on the inlet manifold change and what sort of job are they to do??....z19dth 150 bhp.

autodata shows 3.4 hours...so add another hour on top of that for awkward bolts/nuts and fitting plasters.lol.

im doing this job at the weekend,ive ordered the new manifold but im getting diffrent stories on the manifold actuator,can i use the original one thats on the car or do i need to replace??cars done 40k...cheers

Vauxhall reccomend a new actuator iirc.

yes dealer did advise it when i ordered the manifold but i know a couple of people that have done them before and used the original one so not sure,lets hope all goes to plan with it being a weekend job
