Hi,
My MK6 Fiesta cut out on me the other day after juddering while picking up speed a few days before, I had this problem before replaced the coil pack and it worked a treat. When I got recovered the mechanic plugged his diagnostic computer into the car and it came up saying there was a problem with the Coilpack, so I got home bought a new coil pack and replaced it. Still nothing, When I turn the key the car the car goes to start but then stops as if halfway through startup. I rung GreenFlag they came and tried all different things and still nothing, he then tried his diagnostics tool. It came up saying with a pending problem with Crank Sensor and also coilpack. He erased these and done it again but this time only came up as coilpack. But he advised me the get a new coilpack and try that. Which I did still nothing, also bought a new Crank Sensor fitted it and yet again still nothing but this time it goes abit further when start up sometimes and makes a high sound.
Could anybody help me, as the car is my work.
Thanks,
Dan

Dan

To be honest this really needs to go to a trusted garage, green flag are mainly a recovery firm NOT diagnostic expert,s.

It,s more than possible the faulty coil has damaged the coil driver,s in the PCM.

Kev.

ps if you reply make sure it is easier to read.
