Morning All

Can anyone please recommend someone preferably in the Cheshire/ North Wales/ Manchester area... Or maybe even further afield, who truly understands how to read and interpolate VAG/COM figures and can diagnose the issue with my van.(2007 2.5TDi 174)

Everywhere I take it they charge you a standard diagnostics test to tell me what I already know and have been told time and time again.
Typically they tell me the fault code from the diagnostics and then change out components in hope that it resolves the issue I've had for over 1.5 years! I need someone to analyse and understand the graphs etc rather than just guess and charge me a fortune every time.

This all relates to the usual limp mode, PO299 issue.
So far, the turbo, N75, MAP, MAF, intercooler, injectors, smoke and pressure tests have all been done.........

Recommendations very welcome. I won't hold you to it though:>

Many thanks, James

Has anyone checked the routing of the vacuum pipes?

Hi Josh02

I've tested the vacuum at all the valve joints and where the final pipe meets the turbo vane actuator.
From the tandem pump I get 30inHG of vacuum. I measured the same everywhere else except the outlet of the N75 valve which is 22.
I assume that's just the drop across the internals of the valve.

Thanks, James
