good afternoon

i have a 2005 115 2.4 tddi rwd transit with 18k miles and maybe a fuel pump problem that im hoping some one might be able to help with

fault codes are P1665 and P0216....light on the dash flashes, no sign of firing

i have checked the wires from ECU to PCM and check the wires to and from the pump relay by using autodata, all seems ok

if i was to pop the pump relay out and flick ignition on, i get a 2.2v feed back up to the relay from the pump via pin 7...is this normal or a sure sign the pump is broken

i do get a solid 12v into pin 7 when the relay is plugged in

cheers

when you say you removed relay from relay base can you verify which pin no the base plate your getting the low voltage on.Pin7 on the pump goes to pin5 of the fuel pump relay and is the main power feed to the pump Regards johnjo

Anyway, New pump went on tonight and I’m pleased to report that after 6months and £800 for recon vp44 pump, I’m running again .... happy camping
