Hi
Got a Vauxhall Vivaro in that wont start in the mornings without easy start once warmed up/ started seems to be ok all day
its a Vaux Vivaro 1.9Di FQ9 760 Engine on 2003 plate have check for fault codes using Launch X431 got code for fault Crank sensor at first replace that check all common problem like FPS , no filling in fuel filter , glow plugs seem to be ok have done leak check on injectors no 1 was about 15ml more than other any help will be gratefully recieved as im stuck with this one

NO 1 INJECTOR 15 ML LEAK more than the others??you've answered your own question!!replace no 1 injector!!!Tongue

is that enough to make it not run in morning??? and also no 1 is a B*****d to get out of vivaros ive not come across this prob before

if you have just one injector with a leak then that will definitely stop it starting we have come across this fault loads of times ,in fact its probably one of our first tests on diesels with starting faults!!BigGrin

Im not up to speed on Diesels as we mostly do MOT test & Light repairs the 2 guys i work with are at retirement age and arent interested in newer motors so im hoping to take the place on & expand will have to get up to date on CRD first i think

K, if you look at the fuel rail pressure in live data while cranking, you'll see whether it is your problem.

It needs to reach 120 bar for it to start. As DC suggests it is almost certainly the injector at fault.

I go along with that fuel pressure problem due to leak off from the injector.

I concur with the others too, but I'd re-test the leak off to confirm your first results.
