Hi, i have a 51 plate corsa the windscreen washers do not operate. The fuse is ok and the wipers operate when the switch is used in in the wash wipe position. So im thinking the switch is ok. When i put the meter across the motor plug there is no voltage. Has anyone had this before and where are the pump wires wired back to .?

Thanks Travis

Hi

Agree with DC easy to overlook the correct fuse Wink

failing that there some relays in a box near n/s bonnet hung. You should here the washer pump relay click when switch worked. AD give relay layout

Cheers Aidan

The fuse I have checked is No 15 a 20Amp according to the owners hand book. This has 12v on with the ignition switched on.I take it your on about some more fuses covered when the main fuse box cover is removed.I have only found one fuse box which i take is correct. When the wipers/washers are operated i did not here any relays operating in the engine bay fuse box.Do you know the relay layout in the fuse box please.

Thanks Travis

Hi Travis, just picked up your message. If you look at the underbody fuse-box while standing at the front of the car there is a small black cover in the top left corner, prise this off and you will find some fuses, one of which I'm sure will have popped.

Good luck, Ted

FIXED. I have been back to the car and as you all suggested under the little black cover in the fuse box, there was a 10 Amp fuse blown. This has been replaced and all is well.just incase I checked the wiring to make sure of no dead short.I see the car quite regular could be the pump getting passed its sell buy date so i will keep my eye on it.

Cheers Again Travis

Hi Travis , The fuse could have been blown by a frozen washer pump ! Since this wonderful weather we`ve had ive change lots of washer fuses on the Roadside..

Always check the basics first !Rolleyes
