Sent ecu to Autotek in Dorset them for check (bba couldnt do it) nissan xtrail with fuel pump issues, said they could fix and parted with the best part of 500 quid, ecu came back and was worse ! i had taken scope data of pump before sending off and could get no data when it was returned, checked every pin out and all ok except no voltage to fuel pump control, sent ecu back to them.... waited 4 weeks heard nothing phoned and told they were still checking "thoroughly" amazing appeared on my doorstep 2 days later with a typed report no fault found. so rechecked pin outs and again all ok except pump voltages missing. sent letter by recorded delivery on 11th May and guess what..... still waiting for a reply, check net seems to be issues with them when repairs are not satisfactory, lack of comms etc. any feed back appreciated here.

Search my posts, they are a theiving bunch of liars who should not be allowed to trade.

I too have parted with over £400 for absolutely nothing.

Spread the word.

I could give up Stella, but I'm no quitter. Beer Drinker

As I am trading from Bournemouth, very close to Poole where Autotek is, I can add that this firm has been trading very successfully for years building a very considerable reputation of been, as Alex suggests, utter useless and ....... It shows, nevertheless that crime pays.

A couple of years back I sent an ABS ECU to these people, again no-one else was able to repair it but Autotek said they could. It came back with more faults than before, traction control not working etc. so we returned it. I had numerous converstions with their "technical" department about it but when I started getting impatient they denied having recieved it! I said I had spoken the man who was working on it and their reply was no I hadnt. End of story!
A lesson learnt which cost me £350-00 and I have to work bloody hard to earn £350-00!
