| | hi, out of the tools you have mentioned i would be inclined to go with x431 as its coverage is very good ,i trial tools for a large distributor in the glasgow area and i have to say ,pound for pound the x431 is the winner......it wont do everything but then again no general tool will...so you pay your money and you takes your choice ...hth,david. |

| | Hi maybe I am not the best person to comment on this but this is just to let you know that I have an autoboss v30 and When I was looking into getting a machine I asked advice off two friends of my friends who both have snap on and x431 tools and they have both along with me had a demo of the V30 from Andrew the rep from Autoboss Uk. When they had a play with the V30 they were impressed and have both since had more time to play with it and are still impressed with it to a point that they both say that they will buy one for me the v30 is fool proof and the back up from Andrew and Gary from Autoboss is spot on. I had a fault with the v30 on the Monday and had it into them and back to me within 2 days and they are local (Liverpool) so very handy if there is any problems. The price of the unit and the updates are reasonable cheaper than snapon and launch. It has been said that the x431 will be used first just because they know it will do the the job 9 out of ten times and it is easy to use. I would say that they all have their pros and cons be that name, price, backup, data, how many times they update a year, how much the updates are and how much technical help you get after you have paid out your hard earned cash, but we all have to start somewhere so i would say that you will not go far wrong with any of them hope this helps |
