i have a 1993 1.6 16v orion, when i turn on the ignition the fuel pump dosent run ( should be 1 sec prime) and will not run on cranking either!

have feed into the relay. but the earth from the relay to pin 22 on th eec remains at a constant 12v !!

have tried diff eec but still same !

any help much appreciated

this particular vehicle suffers from fuse box problems check this
our check the inertia switch its matches can go wrong

thanx for replying!

In case anyone else out there having similar problems, i have found the fault!

IMMOBILISER located on a metal plate behind the glove box, three rivets inside the glove box to remove the pull out from behoind dash.

Solder Joints go ’ dry ’ on these, simply re-solder ’dry’ joints on the relays n away ya go.
