Winkhi
these can be blue murder on times, replacement of many parts still giving no results.
1.throttle position sensor.(t.p.s.)
2.engine coolant sensor.(e.c.t.) likely.
3.idle air control.(i.a.c.)
4.some models-maf,or map sensors.
5.e.c.u.
it is best to get it code read first as this model eats ecu,s
but try checking all electrical connections and air /vacuum pipes for cleanlyness and security, make sure no leaks on any pipes.dont forget those under inlet manifold.

WinkI had a similar symptom with my 1.4 zetec engine. Don’t be in a haste to purchase any parts without checking all connections are sound. Listed in the forum under fiesta stalling are what problems I encounted. It was resolved when I fitted a crankcase beather valve and the rubber hoses/pipes had collapsed and split. Depending on mileage check these said items. Hope you resolve your problem...
