Hi All

Chrysler voyager 3.3 petrol, P reg. with air con, twin cooling fans on rad

Car boiled up in heavy traffic, customer says cooling fans failed to come on.

Any one got any info or knowledge of the rad fan circuits, I assume they will be controlled by the ECU via relay, can any one confirm this ? do you know where the fuses and relays are located as they don't seem to be in the main under bonnet relay/ fuse box ?

Any other thoughts welcome.

Aidan

Hi

Not much feed back on this one !!! dont you like voygers ?

Any way the outcome is, we found a relay under the battery tray, you have to remove airfilter box to get to it, this relay proved to be the fault, the dealer had one in stock so I guess a common fault. it cost £78.00 !!

 Thanks Aidan

Aidan

Sorry for the lack of assistance on this one.  It's not only that I don't like Voyagers; but that I couldn't locate any wiring info on their fan control.

Thanks for coming back with the fix.  One more useful fact stored in the archived posts for future reference.
