Hello to all. When coming to rest...that is brake and clutch pressed... on a 1999 Escort 1.4 the engine revs to around 1600rpm and then drops to normal slowly.
The following have been replaced with known good units.
TPS-IAV-Air temp sensor-Air flow meter. The coolant temp sensor shows the correct resistance readings at different temperatures.
On disconnection of the VSS, vehicle runs as normal, on replacing this with a known good unit the problem still persists.
I would be extremely grateful for any info on this.
