Hi there just thought i try and see if anybody has had this problem no battery light / no tacho / no mile or kilometer reading / no engine management light i have tried to connect with the x431 but there is an error when trying to connect to the vehicle by the way the dash is not completely dead there are air bag / indicators /main beam / oil light /and h.brake warning lights working and it is also charging any pointers would be appreciated

Hi, check all fuses,if they are ok it will be a faulty dash unit quite common on your year of vehicle.BBA can repair these.

ok fixed it  i stripped the speedo and re-soldered what looked like a dry joint on the where the block connector fits and it works perfect thanks for the info on speedo head failure for that model and year
