got fiesta 1.3 multi point injection 1998/99 the revs are slightly high wen on tick over,when driving at low speed you get judder or jerky,when you stop,revs go up and down for about 20 seconds, ive cleanded idle control valve,made no difference,cud it be speed sensor,where is speed sensor on these,thnks

try taking the throtle body of and clean inside and the flap with brake cleaner as thay do stick open

cleaned throttle body,still the same,the revs no to high,slighty high,jerky wen at low speeds wile putting ure foot down,but clears.put scanner on it and po507 code and po705 code came up,but i forgot to save it.

gioP0705? Is this an auto? Briefly block off the hoses to the oil filler cap and see if that makes a difference.

manual,po507 tranmission range sensor a circuit,wheres sensor onn the power steering.

ive put my sealey code reader on fiesta,with no fault codes,with car running did on-board mon.test.test56 data.id oo,module10,test value 326d min limit----,max limit7do,status fail,if engine is not running it comes up ok,i have no idea wht this means,the car is idling 1200rpm

gioSo if it's a manual, what's it doing throwing a code for a fault in the PRNDL position sensor of an autobox? Has this been retro-fitted with a manual [was there even a 1.3 CVT?] or is this the wrong ECU that's fitted? Did you check for excess flow from the cap breather?

hi,dnt no if it used to be auto or not,i dnt understand the excess flow frm breather cap,is tht when engine is running?

gioIs there a breather hose, or hoses, connected to the oil cap? Is there an electrical sensor in the steel pipe from the power steering pump? Did this ever idle correctly?
