Hi all got a 05 Transit 2.0 di ABFA in for a service changed the fuel filter and the apprentice for got to suck the fuel up through the filterCrazy

After blowing my top i got it going with the trusty pump and roadtested fine and parked it up.

But when the customer went to start it up it did'nt fire, so out with the pump and got it going again, but this time when I revved it up it then cut out and would'nt start again.

When I tried using the vac pump on the return system and it pulls fuel through then runs dry and nothing

It starts with a sniff of easy start then cuts out
Im ready to pull my hair out has anyone got any ideas cheers

look in the filter for metal bits these pumps dont last minutes when run dry ,also when we change filters we drive them for at least five miles to ensure all air is expelled from the system
